HARAR, BALE MOUNTAINS,

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT ADDIS ABABA:
Arrival at Bole International Airport (Addis Ababa) where you will
be met by a Ghion Travel and Tours representative and transferred to
your hotel. Overnight in your hotel in Addis.
Day 2: ADDIS-WONDOGENET: After
break fast drive to the direction of Ethiopian rift valley and stop
at the town of Debre Zeit to visit lake Bishoftu and plenty of rift
valley lake birds. Continue driving and stop at the head quarter of
Abyjata shalla national park for viewing more birds species and the
breading spot of white pink flamingos. Keep driving and stop at
Ziway lake, the lake hosted 5 islands, famous for its fish
population and bird species. O/n at Wondo Genet Wabishebele hotel.
Day 3: WONDO GENET-BALE: morning
recreate around the hotel-bird viewing, swimming on the Olympic size
swimming pool and drive to Bale through Arsi plateau. On the way
visit the culture of Arsi tribe. Overnight Dinsho lodge Hotel.
Day 4: BALE MOUNTAINS: In the
morning trekking to Senate plateau which has alpine climate and part
of Bale Mountain National Park. This place is ideal to see the
endemic Ethiopian Wolf, mountain Nyala, Menelik Bush Buck. Over
night Dinsho Lodge
Day 5: BALE-AWASH NATIONAL PARK:
After breakfast drive to Awash National park through the farmland of
Arsi. Lunch at Assela and proceed to the Awash NP have stop over at
Beseka Crater Lake - western end of Awash national park that
supposed to have good water birds. Overnight Genet hotel.
Day 6: AWASH- HARAR: Drive
towards eastern part of Ethiopia to Harar the 16th century walled
Islamic city in Ethiopia. In evening visit the 'hyena man' who feeds
hyenas by his hand and mouth. Overnight hotel at Harar.
Day 7: HARAR-NAZERTEH: In the
morning sight seeing tour of Harar. Then drive towards Addis to
Nazareth. Overnight Nazareth Rift Valley Hotel.
Day 8: NAZERETH -ADDIS ABABA:
Drive back to Addis Ababa. Evening departure back to home.
